The Munster Mansion in Waxahachie hosts its annual Charity Event from 7 p.m.-midnight Oct. 21-22. This year’s beneficiary is the Gingerbread House children’s advocacy center.
The community is invited to attend and enjoy the family-oriented event, which includes concessions, games, prizes, children’s activities, a Midway area and more. Admission to the grounds is free, with midway games and food extra. Tickets to tour the McKees’ residence, which is constructed and styled as a reproduction of the Munster Mansion, are available at $20 adult and $12 for age 12 and younger.
Additional performers at the event include Rick the Fire Breather, Saul Ravencraft, Merlin the Wise, Dusty the Clown and Jim O’Rear. Other event features include a kids’ Ferris wheel and appearances by the Drag-U-La and Munster Koach.
All attendees will park at the Finley Junior High parking lot, 2401 Brown St., Waxahachie, where a free shuttle will take them to and from the Munster Mansion.
