NOW Pod presents donation to Gingerbread House

Kelly Brignon, the NOW Pod president of the local CASI organization, and her daughter, Paige, recently presented the NOW Pod check from the 11th annual Chili Cook-Off to Brad Shotts, Gingerbread House board president, and John Wyckoff, executive director. The Chili Cook-Off and accompanying Barn Dance are the children’s advocacy center’s largest annual fundraiser. The event, which is held in February at the Ellis County Expo Center, features three days of CASI-level chili competition, along with competitions for novice, beans and junior cooks.
